Kleoniki Bartzela studied Music Theory (she holds a degree in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue / class of Yiannis Avgerinos) and Piano (class of Nina Nikolaidou-Befon) at the National Conservatory of Athens. She started her flute studies at the Orfeion Conservatory in Athens (class of Dimitris Fotopoulos), obtaining her first degree in flute performance (Ptychio), and completed her studies at the Patras Municipal Conservatory (class of Iwona Glinka), obtaining a Diploma in flute performance. She is also a graduate of the Department of Sound and Musical Instruments Technology of the Technological Educational Institute of Ionian Islands. She has studied music and movement (music-kinetic) education, having attended a one-year course on Carl Orff's approach to music pedagogy at the P. Matey’s School and a one-year course on the Carl Orff's and Jamile Jaques-Dalcroze approaches to music pedagogy at the Moraitis School. She has also attended seminars on the Kodály's music pedagogical method as well as flute seminars by Elizabeth Weinzierl, Edmund Wächter, Philippe Pierlot and Peter-Lukas Graf.
From 2003 to 2010 she taught flute at the Rion Municipal Conservatory, whereas since 2010 she collaborates as a professional flute teacher with the Linion Conservatory in Patras. She has also taught music at the Cultural Centers of the Municipality of Athens (from 1985 to 1998), at the Hearing-Impairment Hellenic Organization (music-kinetic education for hearing-impaired children, 1995-1996) and in Secondary Education (supplementary teaching in music education classes, 1998 ). She has been a member of the Orchestra and Choir of the University of Patras, having participated as flutist in many concerts in Greece and abroad.
Since 1998, she has been teaching music and music pedagogy in the laboratory components of Music Education courses at the Department of Educational Science and Early Childhood Education at the University of Patras.
