Lavidas Konstantinos is an Assistant Professor of “Quantitative Methods in Educational Research and Mathematics Education” at the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education of the University of Patras and at the same time temporary teaching staff in the thematic unit "Educational Research in Practice" of the Postgraduate programs of the Hellenic Open University. He studied Mathematics at the University of Patras and did postgraduate studies in Educational Sciences at the University of Patras. His doctoral thesis is in the field of mathematics teaching with the support of ICT. For the last ten years, he has taught educational research methodology, quantitative approaches in the postgraduate program, and statistics I and II in the undergraduate program. His published work concerns the didactic use of ICT as well as methodological issues of educational research.
Collaboration hours: Tuesday: 11:00-13:00 and Wednesday 10:00-12:00, in my office "Devision: Theoretical and Applied Pedagogy" or remotely in a virtual room ( Zoom or Webex) after communication.
My research interests focus mainly on issues of educational research methodology, quantitative data analysis, multivariate analysis, and the utilization of ICT for teaching mathematics.
