Call for Expression of Interest
The Call for Expression of Interest about the admission of doctoral candidates is issued twice a year. The Call includes all the necessary information about the application and admission procedure, and it is posted on the Department’s and the University’s website.
Candidates
Applications are open (a) to those who hold a Bachelor's Degree and a Diploma of Postgraduate Studies awarded by a Greek or a recognized foreign University, and (b) to those who hold a Single and Unbroken Degree of postgraduate level.
Application file
Candidates apply for admission to the Doctoral Studies Programme. Τhe documents that must accompany the application and the ways to submit them are described in the Call for Expression of Interest and the Programme Regulations. The supporting documents include a research proposal for the Doctoral Thesis and a letter of supervision intent, signed by a member of the Department with supervision right.
Application file assessment
Α three-member Committee examines the candidate's file, invites them for an interview, and recommends to the Assembly of the Department whether they should be admitted to the Programme or not.
Registration
Candidates admitted to the Programme must be registered within 20 days from their admission and renew their registration at the beginning of each academic year.
