Outline : • Introduction into the new communicative context of contemporary society • Analysis of the Pedagogy of (Multi)literacies and the approach of multimodality in the contemporary communicative context and the designing of contemporary texts • Discussion of contemporary approaches and teachign tools, such as multimodaity and translanguaging • Discussion of the way young children understand and produce multimodal texts • Discussion of the ways we learn (cognitive procedures) • Designing activities based on the cognitive procedures to promote learning and schooll inequalities in the contemporary multilingual and multicultural classroom of kindergarten
