Curriculum : This is a course that analyzes the modern Greek multicultural reality, the impact of immigration on it, as well as the new role of intercultural pedagogy.
Particular reference is made to the demarcation of the knowledge society and socio-cultural transformation based on intercultural communication and exchange. The role of the new differentiated pedagogy (Kalantzis & Cope, 2013) in a globalized context and the way in which modern (reflective) curricula are designed with the aim of dialogue and the development of intercultural competence and communication are thoroughly examined.
Also practical issues concerning linguistic and cultural diversity in kindergarten, as well as its management by adopting a differentiated pedagogical approach are discussed extensively. Finally, intercultural teaching proposals are presented.
